P0014 ocv, campshaft sensor or chain skipped

Hi, I drive a 2010 3.8 Genesis Coupe and I have 112k kilo on it. The p0014 cod just popped up yesterday while a was normally driving. (P0014 bank1, exhaust cam passenger side over advenced). I've been searching around the internet and can't find some great advice, people says could be ocv or cam position sensor or the timing chain has skiped a tooth. I'm quite concerned about the skipped tooth issue since I don't want to trash the engine. It is idling fine, no weird noise, no raddling on engine conver, no Lak of power. Does anyone know what it could be or if there is a way to know if the chain skipped exepte for opening up the bloc. Is a compression/leak test will reveal the issues or is there anyone that has the same issue ? I tough it was just a sensor so I cleared the code and drove about 200 killo and it doesn't come back, if it skipped a tooth will it comeback sooner enough to prevent engine damage ?

Thanks for you help
