New here! Fresh owner of a 3.8!

Hey everyone! Just picked up a 2013 Genesis Coupe 3.8 V6 Track this weekend and I'm already in love. Little back story, my previous car (which I still have) is a 2010 Toyota Prius. Before you freak, I have owned other vehicles: Had a 2013 Mazdaspeed3 and several motorcycles (ZX6R and Triumph Speed Triple). Was desperately looking for something keep me busy on the weekends and a new car fit the bill. Had a friend/co-worker turn me on the Genesis models and the 2013+ V6 models really caught my eye. Long story short, I found the perfect one (color, trim, condition) and sprung on it. I've not changed anything since I got it so if the car looks familiar and you might know the previous owner, I'd like to get in touch with them and pick their brain!

I think she looks awesome as she is and she sounds fantastic for what I believe is just a cat-back Magnaflow exhaust but I am looking to do more to her. Among the things I know I'm going to do is a set of side skirts and a rear bumper/diffuser as it already has a front splitter installed. A new set of shoes is in the works (thinking either black or copper color) and a few carbon fiber pieces (hood, trunk, roof etc) to finish out the exterior. I'm slowly compiling a list of performance additions or changes I can make but from my reading so far, it seems that aside from adding FI or doing an engine swap, minimal gains are to be had with the V6, which is fine with me as its currently the most powerful vehicle I've owned thus far (going off HP alone). If anyone knows of any must-do modifications that should or are recommended for the 3.8 models (that aren't already outlined in the Modding for Noobs thread) I'd love to hear!

Also, if you have, or know of anyone else with a slick or clean looking white Genesis as well, I'd love to see photos below! (Along with mod lists if you have them). Thanks for having me! (GTR is my co-worker's vehicle)

That is definitely lowered right?!?! I'm digging that height and it looks legit do you know the coils on it? Throw some rims on that secksi body and you're good haha!! I suggest getting a throttle controller trust me you'll love it!! It really wakes the car up and gets rid of the slow throttle response. Do you have a automatic or manual? I have a magnaflow on my 3.8 as well great sounding exhaust.

Yes! Lowered on BC BR Series Coilovers! I've read of a few others recommending a throttle controller so I'll definitely have to look into that. I have the manual!

Absolutely, really impressed with all the tasteful mods that were already on her. Only 52k miles too! Looking at the Sprint V2 (or V3) as well! Seems to be a go-to for a lot Gen owners.

Nice Gen Coupe! I always like seeing the white ones! I just got a 13' Pearlescent Grey one back in March with 66k miles on it. How much did you pay?

Nice, March is my birthday month! White is definitely a sharp color on this car but I saw quite a few greys I was really close to picking up. Got mine for $16,750 w/ tax and all.

Thats awesome dude. Not a bad pricetag at all considering the mods done. I got mine for a steal.. Its got the track package, which they listed as an R-Spec..unfortunately that was a lie lol... but a custom leather seat package was installed at some point, out the door with new tint I paid 12,500! Looking to do coil overs and rims in the near future && possibly HID's.

Congrats on the new Genesis. Enjoy.
