|CARiD||Hi Rays and welcome to the club! Congratulations on your Genesis Coupe, show it to us when you can. Plenty of knowledgeable and friendly folks here as well as informative and insightful discussion threads. Hope you stick around and find this forum useful!|

I like that you dont see them everywhere, but its too bad Hyundai didn't put more effort into marketing/advertising the coupe, discontinued after 2016. I stumbled upon the coupe while sports car shopping in 2014, the Lotus Evora was on my short list.|

New owner introduction
I'm new to the forum, and to the Hyundai brand.
I just purchased a 2013 Genesis Coupe 3.8 track in beautiful Tsukuba Red exterior and black leather interior. One adult owner, 20K on the odometer. Looks and drives like new. 99.9% stock - The only change is the previous owner installed a K&N intake.
I absolutely love this car -The way it looks with it's creative and seductive curves, the way it handles, the gorgeous red paint, the interior; which I must say is surprisingly nice from my previous perception of the brand. I'm just blown away at all the amenities that you get on this car that other brands charge extra for.
I haven't found anything that I don't like. Honestly and sincerely every time I see and drive this car it puts a smile on my face. I very rarely if at all see these on the street.
I'm coming from previous sports car ownership including, NC Miata, '09 Saturn Sky redline turbo, '94 C4 Corvette. 60s and 70s classic mustangs, back in college I had a really cool Subaru XT Coupe turbo (don't see those anymore!).
My goal is to definitely use it and enjoy it but also keep it in good condition. It won't be a daily driver. Got all the supplies to do a full, professional level detail this weekend.
I look forward to learning and sharing as much as possible in this journey with my new Genesis Coupe.
