Group photo would definitely be great! Now I'm just throwing this out but should we make up some kind of small flyer and invite people that aren't on the site? I've got 3-4 in my neighborhood so I'll chat with them if they're out....just a thought?
As for the drive...definitely up for a cruise...possibly the weekend of the 25th? I'm busy early Sunday but around pm I should be free.

Yeah, I remember that from last year. Sadly, the lesson that appears to have been learned from that exercise is "Don't try to work with the police to foster safe motoring". As it was OPP, that's pretty typical of "Captain StreetRacer" Fantino. Nothing like making enemies of the guys and girls who're trying to do it right, and involve the police in keeping social/automotive activities safe and on the level.

You'd almost think they wanted to force legitimate car enthusiasts (as opposed to 'street racers') underground so they can hand out more tickets and pat themselves on the back some more.

But that could also be the cynic in me.

I think we will be fine...We just need to be careful. I am not going to inform them since we are not doing anything wrong... The cop I spoke to last time seemed very fine in what we were doing and said they were just checking out our cars.

Ok then...I retract my suggestion in that case! That's a horrible case for the Mini club though...especially with the BS news coverage which is nothing more than simple sensationalism......what is this CNN?!

This Forks of the Credit cruise sounds like it's gonna be amazing!!!
Can u add me to the list?? I'm 90% sure that I will be able to make it...
As far as a restaurant reservation Jack Astors are usually very accommodating,
Not long ago we made a reservation for 90 people and the service was
Phenomenal.....this is gonna be my first cruise, so I'm looking forward
To meeting everyone

OK folks, I have tentatively booked us at Jack Astor's in Mississauga. I chose that location since they have tons of parking (the one in Brampton has very little parking). Also they are one of the largest locations.

The Manager is also going to try to work some specials for us.

Please PM me if you are in for lunch at Jack Astors.
This is going to be EPIC!

Also folks, some mentioned that it may be good if we meet earlier, traffic, parking and so on. Would 8AM work for everyone? We need to settle on a time so I can estimate our trip and keep us on schedule to arrive for our lunch. I will also want to hear form anyone wanting to take photos and also set time aside for our group photo.

I will definitely be wanting to take photos but I don't need special arrangements. I'll just walk around at one of the pit stops and in the parking lot. Again, I'll be meeting you guys at B. I'll get there early to make sure I don't miss it.

Tyr, if you're up for it, you should be prepared with a camera at B. Since its a pit stop, you could be waiting and get some good rolling shots as people come in rather than waiting in your car. Just a thought.

8am, hunh? *grin* Looks like I'll be imposing on my lil' brother and his wife for SURE. Gettin' to an 8am start from OTT direct will be tough. Gettin' there from Burlington, WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY easier!

I'll also be camera heavy, and looking for some excellent panning shots. Reminder to everyone, if there's a guy with a camera at a corner, waiting for you? DON'T STAND ON THE GAS! You throw the focus and timing off.

Lookin' forward to it, kids!

Yay! Boozy can teach me how to use the camera. By getting there early I was hoping to get to B at like 9am so I'd be all set for when you guys get there at like 9:10ish. I figured I'd get someone's number to help coordinate that. Getting up early for an 8am cruise in TO is bordering on work-style wake ups minus the pay, not cool

I think 8AM would be best. That way we won't have a parking issue this time. Also leaves us time for the stops and of course to be on time for our Lunch at Jack Astor's.
