Ok so i installed the diff mount yesterday and noticed an immediate difference in power transfer. it is so much more confident in the shifts and you feel more connected to the drive train. i dont have any pictures of the install but i figure its the same as all the other installs. there was a little bit of added drive train noise but nothing unbearable. It sounded like the whine you here on a bus when they get off the gas while in gear. just not as loud. All in all very happy with it. buy it if you are on the fence about it. its well worth it.
how exactly do you install this? I started tightening until the blue bushing was turning flat drove around and still didn't pop into place. Do i just tighten it all the way?
when you first try to install it you will notice that the blue section of it, the poly bushing, will slip through the hole in the subframe. the aluminum part, last section of it to passthrough the subframe is whats going to go in tight. just remember, when its tight and secure the blue bushing will sit flush against the diff. oh also, you might need to put a jack under that side of the diff to line up the diff mount hole to the one in the subframe. i hade to lift mine about a quarter. of an inch. hope this helps.
Is there a OEM part for the differential? or would they use the same part number as the one on the left side?
Noticed this on the first oil change and was wondering why this was done.
