@shorttrack... you are in a vendor thread harassing a vendor for doing vendor things. If you do not want to buy this product, that is your choice; however, harassing a vendor to get them to sell something they don't offer isn't helping anyone. Please take this discussion elsewhere or take a...
  2. Why tune with Upgrade Turbo

    2.0T Discussion 2013 and up
Short answer here is that you are in a public forum, have invited the public to comment. You can't have someone "removed" from a thread simply because you don't agree with what they are saying. As long as nobody here violates the terms of service, they can say pretty much what they want. You...

Sounds like a problem with the seals in your master cylinder. They're allowing fluid to pressurize the brake line... but not bleed back when you release the brake.

How sure are you that you bought the correct size pads?

Shorttrack was put in time out to think about how he wants to talk about his racing experience. People... this isn't Facebook and it's probably one of the last vestiges of places people can go to actually get advice and opinions. While heated discussion is fine, personal attacks won't work...

Look in the fuse box on the drivers side console. There's a fuse map on the cover. If I understand what you are saying... you have one stock coilover and the rest are aftermarket? If so, there's your problem.

Just for shits and giggles... have you tried cleaning your throttle body?

If I was making a general statement, you might have a point, but I was answering a specific question asked for a specific DTC (see the link I provided in my answer). If the owner was a 3.8 owner, my answer would have been different, but stating where the barometric sensor on a 3.8 is located to...

The Barometric Pressure sensor in the Genesis Coupe (BK Series) is located inside of the ECU. (re: AutoHex Online Help: Hyundai GENESIS COUPE(BK) 2012 Fault Code: p2227). While it could potentially be a bad ECU, if it was working previously and the only thing that you did was reflash the ECU...

  12. 2010 3.8L ZF Auto Issue and Question??

    Drivetrain
No, no, and no. The ZF Tranny is very particular about fluid. Putting something else in is a sure way to kill it. The ZF tranny is infamous for overheating. Add a transmission cooler and all your problems will most likely go away.

  14. Synapse BOV question

    2.0T Discussion 2013 and up
Open the back of the BOV... if there are two springs in it (a big one and a little one) remove the little one and any pieces of it that you might find and put it back together again. Hook it up with both A&B ports attached.

Did you buy this new or used?

You can, or you can remove it. Makes no difference.
  17. Engine oil temp issue

    3.8 V6 Discussion 2013 and up
Funny... I didn't see all those oil specifications in the owners manual. Maybe you can post an image of yours showing that yours is somehow different.
  18. Gas requirements

    General Discussion
Back in the 70s, high octane fuels allowed for more aggressive timing on the vacuum advance... it would also allow you to run high compression pistons. If you remember, even back then, once you made your modifications, you could never go back to lower octane fuel. The reason for this is that...
  19. Gas requirements

    General Discussion
NO! Please research your comment and figure out why you are wrong. While there is a misconception as to the difference between regular fuel and premium fuel... it has absolutely nothing to do with how fast the fuel burns. As a matter of fact, 87 octane fuel and 93 octane fuel are EXACTLY the...
  20. Gas requirements

    General Discussion
Use Regular gas if you like. Your car is designed to run regular or take advantage of the higher octane of premium fuels.
