Kpr diff mount

Anyone have one? Any problems?Mine is noisy and after a hard night at the track I have to tighten it up and reapply some loctight. Anyone have these or other problems? I am going to get some info and redesign with a company I have been helping.

What are you torquing the bolt to on the diff mount? We torqued our diff mount to factory torque specs (same as the factory rubber one on the opposite side) and had no problems with the bolt getting loose after several track days and daily driving use.

As of right now we are not. If there starts to be a high demand for it we might just have to though.

I'm not OCD about having things matching, but it would be nice to keep the torsional rigidity of the diff mounts relatively close to the same as this will help preserve driveline angles. I'm personally looking to not ass-plode the OE halfshafts or diff housing/etc and every detail counts right up until enough power is made that it doesn't matter (hopefully much more). I guess what I'm trying to say is I'm interested, haha!

I'm not sure of the tq. Didn't use a tq wrench. I just but some ass on it till the bushing was starting to squish good. What is the tq spec? After a good night at the track it has a tendancy to get a little loose and klunk off the start. It also transmits a fair amount of noise from the rear end. I feel with a slightly different design these probs can b fixed. Just my oppinion.

Lol. Gotta say I am more than happy with this mount! I feel things could have been done a little bit different but all in all a great product! Almost completely eliminates my wheel hop at the strip. It's well worth a little extra noise and work.

Tightening torque Nm (kgf.m, lb-ft) :
80~100 (8.0~10.0, 57.8~72.3)

Well this last time I put more loctight on it and torqued it down to 100 lbs. It pulled the diff about 3/16 of an inch to the right when full tight. I hope this will not throw the pinion angle off too much. That's the reason I didn't get it that tight before. I guess time will tell.

100 ft-lbs is too high. The specs say between 57.8~72.3, that's probably why the diff is angled.

No matter what you tq it too it will pull it till the bolt bottoms out. Then tq can be reached. It's prob nothing to stress about but it's still on my mind. Have had no probs after more loctight and about 100 foot lbs though.
