So I have a 2011 2.0t and I recently just put a hole in the block. I was thinking about buying a wrecked 3.8 and swapping it to the 2.0, adding the turbo to it. Would it be worth it? I am kinda new to all this so would be a learning experience, but would it be worth the money? For the amount of power I could get from it.

First, you will need to change a bunch of things like wiring harness, exhaust, mounts, etc. The 3.8 is a weak motor, it can't handle much boost and you will need to either get a kit from turbokits.com that's about $5,000 and only puts out 6 psi or you can make your own with a lot of tuning. But either way it will be a bottomless pit of $$$$$ and not much in return. Also, if you have an Automatic, it won't work on the 3.8. Get a used 2.0t and build it up the right way.
