Hi All, so I’m looking for some insight on my 2010 Hyundai Genesis v8 intermittently starting. All the lights come on and the battery is new. When it actually does start it makes this hard grinding sound. At one point the car was making this squeaking sound which I think the belt may be worn out but not sure if it’s related to the grinding sound with the bearings. I’m thinking the oil is not lubricating the gears that could be causing the grinding. The car will also stall sometimes on take off after being at a stop light. The engine loses power and have to restart it back up.

I would like to also add that my purge valve went bad and it’s since been replaced but a symptom of it not opening, causing a rich mix is the car won’t start up or idle rough in which it does. The check engine light is not currently on.
