I have a 2010 2.0t and recently my starter crapped out so I’m needing to replace it, I’m not sure if I should get one from the Hyundai dealership or an after market one, does it matter? I’ve also heard mixed things about getting a bk2 starter because it is shorter and easier to replace? Any cons to doing that? Also any advice on doing the replacement from knowledgeable people would be awesome, I’ve heard it is a complete pain in the ass doing this job! Thanks

I think the issue is the bolts won't come out because of the motor mount in the way. So the BK2 starter wouldn't do much good unless you got new bolts and cut the heads off what you have now.
