2014 3.8 Different then 2013?

Ok, since I was kind of hijacking another thread about this, I figured I would just start a new one to discuss this.

I recently did a pulley swap on my 2014 3.8 Ultimate. And I noticed that the factory belt says it is Part Number 25212-3C110. I also noticed in one of the photos I had a 2013 owner send me, the part number is 25212-3C100.

Rock Auto says that the 2014 and 2013 use the same belt, and it is 98.25" long, which would be the 25212-3C100.

My belt, which is 25212-3C110 is 88.25" long.

Did they change the belt and routing of the belt on the 2014?

This is how I believe the 2010-2013 are:

Anyone care to comment? Take a look at/photo of your 2014?

Am I the only person on here that has a 2014? Can nobody else chime in with a photo of their engine?

Is there really that few 2014s on here? Nobody else?

Awesome, thanks for the info! So clean too! lol

Looks like the 2014 and 2015 are the same, and different than the 2010-2013.

On another note, there's an A/C hose that is different on the 14-15 than the 10-13 models. And they changed the hose due to the change in belt routing. If you put a 10-13 hose on a 14-15, the belt rubs the hose.

And the TurboKits.com kit for the 13-15 willnot fit with the 14-15 hose, so you need to change the hose and put on a hose from a 10-13 and route it the way option 1 is above.

Here's the 10-13 on the left and the 14-15 A/C hose on the right:

Here's the 14-15 installed:

And the 10-13 installed (you can see on the bottom where the 10-13 hose rubs on the 14-15 belt):

Fun stuff.

Oh and another node, Hyundai doesn't make, stock, or sell the 10-13 hose any longer. Every dealership I called told me that and said the replacement was the 14-15 hose, which will work with the 10-13 belt. But not vice-versa.

The hard part of the line actually touches the belt. It would be easier to just include a 10-13 belt with it as well. I have the UR underdrive pulleys and used a Gates K060960 belt. Not sure if someone with regular pulleys would use the same size.

Waiting on a replacement hose to arrive. But I don't see why it wouldn't work. Personally I would include a Gates Belt K060975 (for stock pulley setup) instead of a Hyundai belt, but that's just me. Slightly better.

Gates actually has some info:

Serpentine; Nov. 6, 2013 & Older
Automotive V-Ribbed Belt (Standard) K060975

Serpentine; Nov. 7, 2013 & Newer
Automotive V-Ribbed Belt (Standard) K060667
