So how many of you guys put the solo exhaust on? I have it on my challenger and love it. Sweet sound and no drone. It's one of the best cat backs for challengers. I'm gonna put one on my coupe and was wondering g what everyone thought of it.

I Dont know many that have it on their coupes. I ordered the CNT cat back , people seem to really like that one. And it's cheaper

I think I'm gonna stick with the solo. It's a proven exhaust in my book and there customer service is the best in the business. I know there fit was perfect on my other exhaust and it sounds awesome. I was kinda hoping others would comment on it.

Love it. Sounds and fits perfect. They build 4-5 different versions just to get it to fit and sound perfect. After the last version was finalized, they also fitted it to a few other Genny's (10-12, 13 like mine and an AT). Hell, even my wife love's how it sounds. The vids are all pretty accurate too. I think maybe sounds a bit deeper in person. I can probably do a quick in car vid if you want too.

Jeff, the owner and all of the guys that build these are top notch. Dealing directly with them was a great experience. These kits are all essentially hand made at their shop in Mississauga Ont too, so no made in China junk. You have a question or an issue, Jeff or Steve will answer the phone.

There are a few reviews posted in the review section of this forum too.

Honestly, zero drone. That was one of the reasons they made a few versions. Does your other Solo have the J-Pipes? It turns out the Genny doesnt need them like alot of the domestics do. The car sounded really bad wiht the J-Pipes lol.

They have a few different ones for the challenger. The one I have has no mufflers. It's just straight pipes with an X pipe where the muffler would be. But yes it has j pipes for no drone. It sounds bad ass. Absolutely the best sounding exhaust I have ever heard on a challenger. I've had 5 different brands on my car and have heard the other 10 in person and the solo is by far the best one. There fit and finish is spot on. The last thing anyone wants is installing something that doesn't fit right. How did yours fit?

I actually found an in-car I did a few months ago. Its hardly the best quality but its not bad. Drive by might be hard with a foot of snow on the ground lol. Honestly with this exhaust being similar in design to the Magna and Borla, Id expect the same gains. Most of the 3.8 exhausts all get around the same gains regardless of brand. Click the pic for it to play.

Jeff said that they might be interested in making a muffler-less version in the spring. Fit is spot-on. Jeff was there and wouldnt let me leave till is was perfect. The advantage of being local, is that they do free installs and adjustments at their shops. Im very happy with it.

As I mentioned, there are a few reviews out and none of them are negative in any way. I even have a Solo on my Veloster Turbo.

Thanks for the video Dumer. Certainly got a better idea of what it sounds like solo lol. The design of the solo exhaust looks less bulky compared to the magnaflow or borla. I've heard that some aftermarket exhausts weigh more than stock and it almost defeats the point making the car heavier just for sound and gains when the weight cancels the gain out. Not completely of course. Anyways any thoughts on the size of it compared to others on the market?

Didnt weight it but I do know the stock muffler weighs a ton and the Solo muffler section felt much lighter lol.

My car is stock except for the catback. Cats are in place and not modified in anyway. Im hoping Solo might be interested in making some test pipes or using their 200 cell HF cats for a future mod.

Yeah I don't think you can go wrong with a solo exhaust. I'll be heading out to them in buffalo in the spring to get it put on my car. I know Jeff ,he's a great guy with fantastic customer service.i was excited to see them on this site as sponsors. It's funny because there are a lot of vendors that are cross forum vendors. If we could get someone like billet tech to do some nice billet pieces for the engine compartment life would be good.
