Was curious if anyone has done this and how it worked out? Thinking this will be my next mod before ECU tune. I believe this should work on the 2013 + 3.8L

Have had the CF Driveshaft in the car for quite some time now and absolutely love it compared to the 2 piece OE design. The 3.8 CF driveshaft will fit both bk1 and bk2 models. Here is my link if you would like to see the side by side of them:

Seeing how that there is no weight savings, what is a benefit of having one... less flex in drivetrain?

No center universal joints. the stock one has a center section that mounts to the body.
Less pieces that power has to go through to reach the ground, the less power loss.

And looks to me that the rubber shock donut is replaced with something more substantial.

On almost any car with a propeller shaft, the lengths are different between the auto and manual cars.
