Just buff it.
buffing will get the job done??

ok i have never buffed my car before.. which product should i buy??? or should i bring my car to hand wash place???

if i do buff it my own do i buff the whole car? or just that spot
really? i had no visual left over of my emblems after I remove them. A hair dryer + light mix of warm water and dish wash soap did a well done job.

i used heat gun + goo gone with microfiber cloth
You could see the same thing after I debadged mine. After a couple of washes it will go away
have you washed the car afterwards?

how old is the car? ... it may be an after effect from being in Arizona... or did it have any paint protection from the dealer?

just claybar it,

I did the same thing but substitute the heat gun with some fishing line. Maybe you cooked the adhesive into your clearcoat with the heatgun, or you cooked the clear coat around the badges? :dunno: Those things throw off way more heat than what was needed to remove the badges, not that any heat was needed in the first place to remove them IMO.
i had that too for a while but after a few washes/wax it was all gone
pics????
I have the same problem. At certain angles in the sun, it looks like there's... Residue stains? Not very noticeable where the 3.8 was, but pretty noticeable where the Coupe badge was. I'm thinking it may have something to do with the paint protection they put on it before I debadged.
just claybar it,
+1
Meguiars scratch remover.
My 2.0T emblem fell off. I cleaned the hell out of it, but there was a noticable spot.
Some Meguiars scratch sh*t and a soft terry cloth cleaned it right up.
i took mine off the day i bought the car. they came off with the sticky goo, no goo gone required. no spots.

on my audi, i took it off when the car was 8 years old. definitely a spot. if the paint fades, its hard to blend it.

Your car should be new enough that you should be able to even it out. you want to be careful with any polishes. polishes made for single stage paints will be far too aggressive for clear coats
I had the exact same problem as you when I debadged. I just took it to my local shop and they did a quick hand buff and now it's completely gone!
Fishing line? Doesnt that scratch the paint?? I've heard of using cotton dental floss - I also heard goo gone strips the clear coat? Is this true?

I'm just looking into doing mine, so all suggestions are a plus!
