Ok guys, I've searched far and wide for a fix for my CEL (I have a 2010 2.0T 6spd). I have had the codes since i bought the car (mid-July) and I'm in the process of trouble shooting the codes. The specific codes are: P0170 (too rich or lean at idle) and P2188 (too rich at idle). With the research I've done it is either a leak in the intake system, bad MAF sensor, or a bad O2 sensor. I want to test the least expensive fix first, which may be the air leak. What's an easy way to test the intake system for leaks without doing something like a smoke test?

Thanks

Spray some carb cleaner or even water works on the suspected locations when the car is hot and idling. A leak will change the idle speed when hit with either.
