Any pics around of a 19" Front/ 20" rear staggered set-up?

I think this is the route I want to go and I'd love to see examples and just hear opinions of this idea. If I decide to go 19/ 20 it does rule out the Volk imitations and I'd need a different rim choice. Preferably w/ some concavity or huge lip.

The inspiration for this idea came to me from the red Sequence-X GC that has 18" in the front and 19" in the rear and I happen to think it looks positively perfect. I'm afraid however that the Sequence car has small tires that make the 18/ 19 combo look great but with the full size tires I intent to run it just might not look quite right. I do recognize that the 18/19 combo would offer cost/ performance/ ride advantages over a 19/20 combo and that is swaying me a bit. But every 18" rim I've spotted in person on a GC so far looks positively retarded IMO (sorry 18" rim guys).

I'm really open to suggestions and respect some of ya'lls opinions.

If you don't know the car I'm talking about here is a link:

Oh it'll be nice to see this, I think our car can definitely pull this look off. Having front slightly lowered than rear will even out the size differences.
Looks just fine on Vettes (18/19 on base Vettes), so don't see a problem at all on ours.
Does anyone know what size the tires are on that Sequence car. I just can't tell. Do you guys think that pic is photoshopped?

I'm starting to lean back towards the 18/19 set up because I'm always interested in improving performance and saving money and I know the 18/19 set up will be better in those regards.

There's just certain things that don't work on certain cars.

American Racing Torq Thrust wheels look like crap on anything other than Muscle Cars.

Volks don't look right on anything except imports.

Staggered setups like this don't look good on imports. Not in anybody's opinion in which I've ever encountered.

Those rear tires have to be really low profile. probably 275/30 if not 265/30. If you look at this GC with 20's, the sidewall is basically the same height.

yea, i have to agree, that sequence car has the perfect stance!
It looks like it has 35 series in the front with 30 series in the back.
I bet you could go with 265/35/18 front with 275/35/19 rear.
this would give you similar to stock dia. balance.
255 F and 275 R have the best stock size replacement if going wider.
+1 that's what I have on my 335I and its also what I had on my trans am. My gene will probably end up with a much wider rear tire though for traction purposes.
When I find some rims that I like and that fit I'm definitely rolling w/ the "wheelchair" look. Front 19's, rear 20's.

The Sequence-X car looks perfect to my tastes with the 18/ 19s but it only works because the tires are tiny. Tiny tires are not going to be functional for me so I need 19/ 20s instead to maintain the same stance. This leaves very few options in rims for me but I will continue to look. Honestly the only ones I've seen that will fit the way I desire are the S5:F's but I just don't love them at all. I wish Varrstoen made 20's.

I appreciate the suggestions guys. Any more?
There's Vossen, which is a bit more expensive. Five axis will also be releasing the R5:F in 20's next month, I think. If that's more your taste (as it is mine)
Wheels

I just ordered a set of Rohana Rl-08 wheels in 20x10 rear and 20x8.5 front. They advertise a 5inch lip on the rears. I can't wait to put them on. A 5 inch chrome lip on a black coupe should look pretty ridiculous.
Look forward to seeing the pics Pete.

Vossen tends to be a heavier rim than stock.

I spoke to Vossen yesterday and they told me that their cast wheels (the ones I could actually afford) in a 19/ 20 all weighed between 40-50#. I told them that he literally didn't know what he was talking about and he assured me that he did. They might be heavy but I still think he is way wrong.

I weighed my cast 20"x 10" diesel truck wheels that are really heavy and chunky looking and they weighed 34# each.
When Pmangenesis got the Vossens he told me that they were in fact extremely heavy.
Buying 20's and worried about weight? :dunno:
im not 100% on it but im pretty sure the sequance car has 19 front and 20 rear.....rears look way to big to be 19
It's a balance between weight and looks for me among other things. So ya 19's in the front that are hopefully lighter than the stock 19s and rear 20s that thru good construction hopefully aren't any heavier.

I'd be thrilled if after getting wider wheels all around and the corresponding larger tires front and rear, and going to a 20" in the rear to boot, if I could just match the stock weights all around. Although I know that the new set up would in fact have more reciprocating weight. Just no getting around it.

Volk doesn't make a 20". The Sequence car, according to them, has an 18 in the front and a 19 in the rear. The tires are just tiny so it looks great. Normal sizes tires would swallow those 19's. Go to the Varrstoen threads and look at pics, the 19's still look like they have massive sidewall when guys run "normalish" tires.
