I'd recommend starting with a catback to see how you like it. Keep in mind that when you start adding a down and/or test pipe, the car gets noticeably louder. In fact, your best bet performance-wise is to do a catback with cold air intake. These two mods give you an excellent bang-for-the-buck and also make the car sound more aggressive. Just do yourself a favor and stay away from low-quality exhausts because they are always louder (in an annoying way) and also have a higher chance of fit and/or longevity issues.
Everyone's going to have different opinions on which exhaust to get that will be based on power gains, exhaust note tone, welds/craftsmanship, materials & looks. So that is a VERY open ended question & you will probably have to do alot of reasearch to find what best suits your needs...which brings me to my questions; What is your intentions for the car? Is it only a DD? Do you have small children? Would you prefer single or dual exit?
It is just my weekend car over the years I might adventually put money into it and make it a beast I do not want anything cheap and not no fart can noise and mos def dual exhaust

sorry to thread jack..but suggestions for a dd? :D
You can't go wrong with a DC Sports exhaust system, guys. It is a 3" system and looks and sounds good. Best of all, it is on sale through us at only $575 with free shipping. :)
it would help if your site was running

I would shoot for something a little bit quiet & that looks good. For DD use twin tip duals is fine. Personally I think beveled burnt tips are sexy. IMO these are some quality companies whose exhaust should be worth while: ARK, Beyond Redline, CP-e, Buschur & Stillen. I'm sure there are more I missed some, but I haven't researched exhaust options for our cars in a while since I purchased mine for some time already.

Stick with a QUALITY exhaust like ARK or Injen. They are the two quietest on the market.

Just an FYI...a couple of the ones you mentioned are NOT quiet at all. ARK yes, but the only other one that's "not loud" is Injen.
Beyond Redline and CP-E are pretty loud, but in an awesome way :). I remember Buscher being comparable in sound/loudness as my Beyond Redline. ark is very quiet and looks the most "aftermarket" I you ask me. Not seen or heard injen in person yet.
go Custom baby! Cheaper and youll get the sound you want!
Custom FTW! I had a shop cut my exhaust off after the primary cat and installed a 3" inch straight pipe with an inline resonator (and dual exits using the factory tips). Not too loud and sounds great.
