It would be totally useless unless you get tuned for the selected octane rating.

Octane explained In simple terms: it is the capacity to resist to detonation. It gets the threshold of ignition higher. The higher the number, the higher you can run boost / advance timing/ add fuel.

To sum it up: Ask a tuner to get a tune on the highest easily available octane pump gas. Then you will get the benifits of higher octane!

I hope I could help!

Very smart man^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^,Most people believe that myth of race fuel in a un-tuned street car would make power on race fuel.MR-9 ,U-4 and other oxygenated fuels to even include Nitro based fuel do make power but you must be tuned for it and have engine support components in place (forged rods ,forged pistons and etc)to withstand the by-product these fuels create,POWER. High octane fuel alone won't do $h!t by itself ,QcGrey3.8GT was spot on with his answer.DROPPING THE MIC AND WALKING OFF STAGE .

yeah thot of that after i posted.
that's why they ask if you're 91 or 93.
never mind...
i'd get tired of the trip after 1 time anyway.
would be cool to have a dial from 91 to 110...
