sounds like you've got a leak somewhere? i'm not too sure though...
BOV sounds awesome! But what the heck is that noise before it?......
So, thanks to one of our fantastic forum members .MikeV. (he sent it quickly, provided me with a receipt, and the parts came before the time he promised, as well as them being in pristine condition. I definitely recommend him if anyone is thinking of buying parts from him. And no he didn't pay me to put this in here), I have obtained the Greddy Type S BOV. It has ATP piping, and fits in pretty much identically to the HKS SSQV3. It was a 5 minute switch at the shop, and it sits in there beautifully. I failed to get a picture of it in the engine bay, but I will get one tomorrow when it is bright again.

Anyway, this thing sounds beastly. It sounds like two glowing red-hot swords striking each other and sliding down the blade making sparks.
The only thing is, mine seems to be making another abnormal noise as well. When I accelerate hard, there is a noise that resembles a huge turbo spooling up, and it's not coming from my stock turbo. It's coming from the BOV. I have no idea what it is, and while it sounds interesting when you're outside the car, does kind of worry me, becase none of the Greddy Type S videos have any car making this noise.
At first I thought it was the sound of the stock turbo just echoing through the pipes, but I somehow doubt this.
Here is a video of what it sounds like inside the car. Note the loud spool-like whine, then the godly "psswweeeeeewww".

The fitment is perfect, and it's rather colourful under the hood! :rofl:
Anyway, I found the source of the boost leak, and all I needed was an allen key to tighten a single screw, as shown below.

Now that I'm no longer leaking boost and the BOV works fine, this thing is LOUD. I have no complaints whatsoever. Thanks Mike!

At 3:22, it sounds like you have some slight compressor surge when under light throttle. I have the same BOV and I just took it off in favor of the stock BPV because of that same problem. I intend to hook it up off the RCV (like stock) to see if it can react fast enough.Uploading as we speak
