It was like 2 months ago...I was driving and suddenly the car lost its power, check engine turned on and rpms got stock at 2k-3k...pressed accelerator all the way to the floor and no response. As it kept happening more often I took it to the dealer. 1st time they said nothing was wrong with the car, they said its learning ECU and just didnt know what to do...(what?! do i need to teach my car how to drive?!)...happened ever more often and I took it to the auto zone to check the code...it turned out to be the throttle body. I went to the dealer 2nd time with the slip from auto zone and said you either fix it or take this car away. SO they replaced the THROTTLE BODY AND PROBLEM DISAPPEARED.
**** this ****ing ****. I have dealt with so much stress and **** like today where I blocked traffic and got honked at a million times because the car said oh hey lets just randomly go into limp mode! luckily I can disconnect and reconnect my battery where ever I am, which clears the code. this ****ing limp mode is going to kill me and the asshole at the dealership said "oh you were redlining it, thats the only time that will happen"

wow dude that must suck. Very similar but my limp modeS come on every time I leave my house or work. Since I started to mod my car and got the BTRcc tune, it never came back.
My throttle body was replaced at least 4 times, Hyundai engineer was :dunno: so I lived with it. My car has 23k miles
