Alright guys, I?m having an issue with my clutch safety switch, or likely the wiring to it. A week ago, I tried starting the car as normal, and it wouldn?t start - all accessories work just fine.

I assumed that the clutch safety switch had gone bad, so I ordered a new one and installed it this morning. I?m still having the same problem, everything works properly except the car won?t start. My friend who was giving me a hand troubleshooting checked the wiring from the harness leading into the plug for the safety switch and it had no power.

Is there a relay or fuse I can check for this, or any other ideas as to what I should be looking for?

This is a ?12 3.8 R-Spec, 6MT of course.

Thanks in advance!

To test the ciruit, take the connector off the switch and jumper it. If it starts the switch is the problem.

if it doesn't, run a ground to the connector, jumper and try again. if it starts the problem is before the switch after the switch. If it still doesn't start the problem is before the switch.
