Hello,

i just bring my car to crowfoot hyundai to replace the RF tire, because my steering wheel shaking over 100km/h, they told me i have a flat spot on the tire. so they replaced the tire for me this morning, after that i just drove home, and the steering wheel still shaking, but slightly better than before. but this is not what i care about.
When i got home, i found out that they forgot to put the wheel lock key back in my car, and my RF rim got scratch all round , also got 4-5 chips on it after they replace the RF tire, my other 3 rims are free of any scratch. :mad2::mad2::mad2: My car only has 4400km on it so far. I am a Licence Auto Technician, i am working in T&T Honda dealership, so i am sure the scratch is from the tire machine, when they replacing the tire. i will talking to their service manager on Monday, to see they will fix that for me. i will keep this update.

Also the last month i took my car there for interior noise from the sunroof, and they adjusted it, noise is gone, but they left the grease all over my seats, roof liner, center console when i go pick it up, so i talked to them and they clean it off for me, so that's ok to me that time.


After this, i will never go back to this dealership again, and not recommend highly to anyone to take their car to this dealer for any service

HOWEVER, i did have all my rims fuct'd by kramer mazda on my previous car so i know exactly how you feel, i just hate all dealerships in general.

I'm kinda late to the party here, but hopefully you were able to call them yesterday to deal with it. That is actually where I bought my car and have taken it for service/adjustments any time something needed to be done. I've had no problems. Hopefully your issues were isolated cases that unfortunately happened to the same person twice. I actually really like the service advisor there, he's a cool guy.

I'm sorry I don't really get this logic...they're in Crowfoot Plaza (or whatever the F it's called...Crowfoot something) how is that any less original than the name of any other dealership?

As I posted in the other thread about this, I'm sorry to hear you've had a couple bad experiences there. It's where I bought my car from and have taken it for service and actually really like the service department.

I feel you 380GT, I paid 22,875 for the 2.0t base model. I got the 5 year premium package for 899, I also got the lojack put in and that was 1,455. So all together I paid $31,402.34 after it was all said and done, and I paid cash. So when I brought my coupe in to have the lojack installed they had it all day. I dropped the car of at 8 in the morning and the service guy said that they would give me a call when it was done, no later then 4:30. Okay..that's fine, but I had to call him when it reached 5:30 to see if it was done. The guy acted like he had no recollection of my coupe being there and he would see if it was done. A few minutes went by and he told me that yes it was done and it's ready for pick up. So I picked it up and when I got home my center interior lights wouldn't turn off. I didn't know why this was happening. At first I thought it was the lojack making the lights stay on but confirmed it wasn't the lojack. They scheduled another apointment to have it looked at. Then before I took it back to have them fix it, I had the 3 way done. That took all day also..and that's fine. So finally I took it in for the interior light problem. The sevice department told me to be there a 4:30 and it would be definitely be done. I also had them get me another key made for me because it only came with one. So I show up at 4:30 and told them that I was here to pick up the coupe. The service lady seemed stumped, she said that they were just going to cut the key now and I would have to come back in 4-5 days for the remote key chain. And about the lights staying on, they told me that my radio need to be replaced and that was why the lights weren't turning off. So all day they had my car and all they did was do a oil change, and then tell me that the radio was faulty. So I brought the car in again and this time they rented me a car. So not only did they keep it all day, after I called to see if it was done because I never recieved a call. The service guy said that the key chain was here and ready also they installed a new radio and that my light were now shutting off like normal. So I said it's done so I can come and get it? He said no, they wanted to keep it overnight to see if any of the modules were drawing power. I don't want to be treated special but damn, I want to be treated like I'm a valued customer. So tommorrow I will go off, and I'm going to tell them that I want to see my old radio because 3 days earlier they said it will be awile because they couldn't get one. But they now want to keep my car over night to see if any of the modules were draining power. I think there jacking me around. If the radio needed to be replaced don't you think that the lights wouldn't turn on, not turn off?

A name like Crowfoot? Kind of openly racist considering it's obviously First Nations but I'm not a cousin so why do I care. Crowfoot is a whole area of Calgary and that's where the dealership is located too.......soooo yea.

Anyway I purchased my vehicle and have had it serviced there before and have had nothing but great things to say. I understand that people's experiences might be different, but it's no reason to say this dealership is plagued with bad service. Just want to keep people's minds open!!

The issue with the tire as an internal seperation which made diagnosis very difficult based on the fact it was not visable. Throughout the process the customer was provided with a no charge replacement vehicle to allow ample time to diagnose and correct the customers complaint. The tire ended up being on back order which was an uncontrollable circumstance. End result the condition was corrected. After being informed about the scratch, we had a wheel repair specialist dispatched to the owners place of work to repair the wheel at no charge, this was done without confrontation or arguement. In all my years I personally have never received that level of service. Did things go smoothly? No, but there were uncontrollable circumstances, end result the vehicel was corrected without major inconvienence to the customer. Crowfoot Hyundai currantly holds the the highest Customer Satisfaction Index in Canada, this is result of a service staff that takes pride in every aspect of a job well done. This is obviously a staff member of Crowfoot Hyundai, I personally contact the owner of the vehicle in regards to the service received. The client is happy with the repair.

Don't go to precision Hyundai either the service manager there is so crooked. I'm even more glad I didn't get my car from crow foot. But I'm still not happy with the stupid Hyundai gallery.

I bought my car at Crowfoot, and while my buying experience wasn't fantastic, it was alright, I have had fantastic service from Crowfoot. My car itself has been pretty plagued with problems, but Crowfoot has bent over backwards for me to get everything fixed up for me...until the next issue surfaced. lol

Hyundai seems to have a problem with a lot of their dealerships, some of the Edmonton ones are spotty, ranging from awesome to downright awful within the same week.

So far Sherwood Hyundai has treated me pretty well for service, but the buying experience was awful and I ended up purchasing from Northstar, who I had a rotten service experience with.

I always lol when someone posts a negative post on service but does not include the fact that the dealership owned up to any problems and corrected the situation.

I may start bringing my Gen to Crowfoot just because of this post.
