ELM327 Bluetooth working with Dashcommand for iOS

I got it working, not by my own work per se though.
I'll write a tutorial if you guys like it, it's working (albeit slightly laggy because of) on my iPad 1 on iOS5, obviously jailbroken.

You need to install roqyBT4 and roqyOBD4 to get it working, the set up is pretty easy, again, if you guys are interested let me know.

:confused::confused::confused::confused:
Could I do this on a Samsung Galaxy Tab just as easy? If so I would love a write up
It is just as easy, google dc294-mm.apk, download it, and install it on your Galaxy tab, and just set up the ELM327 like you would any other device

For iOS it's slightly harder though
How did you set it up on your ipad? And dis you pay the full 50 for the app?

^ No doubt. $50.00 for the Dashcommand App seems a bit extreme.
What all options work for the genesis in the app?

Yes they all do, and obviously no I didn't but I'm not going to tell you how to do it since that's highly illegal.

To set it up in your iPad you need the Cydia apps RoqyBT4 and RoqyOBD, and set up in the Dashcommand app to use the OBD on IP 127.0.0.1, after RoqyOBD is set. It's kinda complicated so if any of you attempt it, just drop me where you got stuck here and I'll guide you through it.
Are all bluetooth adapaters pretty much the same? For example the Elm327 is around $50 and I found another one around $100 and another one around $200. Why is there such a difference?

Profit margin.... They're all pretty much the same at least in the way they work...

I got mine a lot cheaper lol you should look around a bit more
They're like $10-$15 on ebay and since I'm already jailbroken I'll give this a shot when it comes in.

Thank You Good Sir
Eldomino i purchased the dashcommand and already had a jailbroke iphone so i got the 2 apps installed... Pm me the instructions to di the rest if you dont mind.

Just install RoqyOBD and RoqyBT4 and connect to the OBD dongle through Roqy, then open dashcommand and in the "OBD2 Data Port" setting write 127.0.0.1 and it should work
Do i put 127.0.0.1 in the ip address and port places under obd II port?

And what do you mean connect through obd dongle?

Set the ELM327 with roqyOBD, and in Dashcommand, set the ip 127.0.0.1:35000
Ok only problem i cant find where obd installed. The roqybt4 is on my speing board though.

It's inside roqyOBD, go to "configuration" and set "Generic OBD Token"
