in my case the car is not an issue it's torque that create the most delay

after the pcm answer

torque wait around 0.010 sec to send another standard request

but torque wait 0.15 sec to send custom PID or Hyundai pid

i tried obd link mx bluetooth and wifi with no speed difference

The Daytona sensor shipping cost is more expensive than the actual used sensor. Here goes...

Does anybody have a pic looking into the MAP sensor with the temperature probe facing towards the camera? I'm thinking if it's possible to swap just the temperature probe and keep the oem sensor housing.

Thank you sirs. I'm going to attempt to find a used MAP sensor and open it up as in the following thread:

I may end up breaking the temperature sensor in the process of trying to remove it from the housing, on that same thought I might as well get an additional 955 sensor if I end up breaking one of them trying to swap the sensor over.

Here's a break down of the temp readings and the actual ohm readings. I'm going to mount the sensor and connect it to an ohm meter and drive around a while comparing the readings to the OEM temp sensor before splicing it into the MAP wiring.

Were these values posted online somewhere or did you calculate them? The triumph IAT sensors I got are supposed to be the same part number but one says made in china and the other in the UK so I want to make sure I have the right calibration.

You should compare an OEM one at the same time to confirm they use the same values.

Only thing I check against is the other OEM sensors when the car is dead cold and in the dark. IAT/ECT/Ambient They all are within a degree C.

Another thing too is what incremental values of 1 degree C the ECU uses. I know on the oil temp it is 1/4 degrees. But the rest are all 1 full degree. To me this is important but to others they fail to see the erosion of response.

I'll be specifying the actual sensor calibration in Haltech, won't be using the OEM sensor but having the calibration for that couldn't hurt. I'd like to do what you did and have a switch between the two. What kind of adapter did you put on the sensor that had the wires attached?

I will be tapping my intercooler piping to install this sensor so the ECU receives the temperature measurement before it enters the cylinders.

I just used some crimp on connectors.

Is there a specific spec that we can look for when trying to find a fast acting IAT sensor? I'd like to find a smaller/compact form factor sensor that I can stick in a TB spacer or somewhere in the air box without making a big hole.
