Getting my 2.0t tuned
I'm going to get a canned tune
And I'm still worrying about the tune
I don't wanna waste my money on nothing.
So my question is, can you really feel the increase with only the canned tune??

All of the canned tunes should give you a VERY noticeable gain in power and a very noticeable shortened life on your clutch, if you have a 6MT... I picked up 40whp and 80ft/lbs with the canned 20psi CMD tune.

GET THE TUNE. I got it and I can never go back to stock tune, car feels powerless without the tune now. I got it on the spare ECU so I can swap back and forth, but its such a different car with the tune. Trust me you'll have doubts up until you get it, then you'll realize you were worried for nothing because it is really worth it. Don't worry so much about clutch wear, the 2013s have a upgrade clutch and can handle the tune just fine without wearing the clutch much more, unless you burn the crap out of it. The stock clutch will last just as long as it would if you were stock.

I got the stage1 beta from sfr and the difference is amazing, the throttle response is just how it should of been stock and the power gains are amazing, I raced a friends 350z with full bolt on b4 the tube and he pulled 3 cars away from me, and after the tune I was ahead of him 2 cars. Don't think about twice because the sfr tune is worth every penny

sfr .5 is even night and day vs factory. also got the extra ecu. if you go through sfr, ask for the cat delete too. if you get the extra ecu, probably best to have jay code the vin # on it just in case the car breaks down and gets towed with the tuned ecu in it, should they happen to check it at the shop.

I just want to reiterate what has been said already.

Get the SFR tune it will make your car so much fun to drive.

I was very happy with the .5 tune but I upgraded to stage 1 beta and I am even happier.

I only come out 6th gear on the highway now when I want to because it pulls like 5th did stock....

I went back to stock for one day before I upgraded and I wanted to pay Jay more money because I felt like I did not pay enough for the tune the first time. Stock throttle response is a sick joke from Hyundai.

While I'm sure it will last longer than the 10-12's I highly doubt it will last as long as a stock tuned. With as much torque as the tunes are producing, ie more than the V6s stock, it will certainly have a shortened life. That is unless you drive like a granny everywhere...

I can't believe a thread was started just for this bullshit. Didn't you start one just like it a couple days ago and the mods locked it because it was a retarded question that you could have found the answer to in like 15 seconds of searching?

Do you guys notice the increase from tuning?

I'd be saying looking into a custom tune either by SFR or BTR over a canned tune.
Something about a one tune fits all kinda makes me nervous.
Every car was broken in differently, driven differently, has different gas/oil, different driver, different climate.. IMO.. a custom tune is the way to go.
