They did great work and were very helpful with all the questions I had for them. They got the work done quickly also. My parts were back shipped out within 2 days.
When I took my car to the dealer I asked them about changing the oil ect.., n they said that they highly don't recommend synthetic..

My dealership told me that the Hyundai Tiburon V6 engine was SOHC, even worse, it was a mechanic.
Don't listen to the dealer, they're just after your money. I'm guessing they either didn't stock synthetic or they didn't have the correct weight, hence led you away from synthetic to regular just to be able to make a sale.

You should switch dealerships. :squint:

Synthetic not only won't hurt your car, it is actually better for it. But you shouldn't change back & forth from synthetic to organic & back etc.
As far as GrimmSpeed goes, they are one of the best groups out there. Their port work is absolutely fantastic, they have AMAZING customer support (not something you see everyday, they texted me pics of my manifold after they finished porting it.), and their prices are ungodly cheap.
They made a great impression on me, and i've dealt with multiple groups out there.
Any difference in performance?

I haven't obviously got a dyno or anything but I can tell a difference when driving it. I would definitely do it again and think it was worth the money for the quality of work for sure.

Couldn't agree more. They did amazing work and were very helpful with everything, not to mention as soon as my parts got there they were in work on them immediately and had them back out the next day.

Yeah the workmanship is very good and the turnover time is incredible. I have a 2.0T EM P&P'ed from them and can't wait to install it really. Spring can't come fast enough...LOL:D
Dyno! :)

Oh, and LOL @ the synthetic thing.

Trying to find a dyno in the area and I am not sure why they told him no synthetic, but I am going to continue to use ENEOS oil in my car without hesitation.
Do you plan to do a baseline with stock manifold first?
Probably not, since I already changed it out, but will still post the results to show where the car is at with current mods on it.

:dunno::dunno:

He already has the PnP Manny back and on the car.
^ Lulz.

Oh yeah. Forgot already, haha.
I bought a spare to have ported so I can preserve my stock manifold, I wasn't sure if he did the same.
Did I ask an invalid question?

I tried to find a spare so my car wouldnt be down, but couldn't find anything in time.
hyundai parts for less quoted a new intake manifold assembly at around $220 new.
