Headlights seem to shake.

Hello all. I have DD hids in my coupe. This is my second pair due to color preference. With both sets I've noticed a shake that occurs when I go over small bumps in the road and it worsens when there is larger bumps. The headlamps are not loose and the hide are installed properly. It seems like the bulb isn't super snug and creates this shake pattern on the road. Could you all see if your hids are doing this too? It is annoying watching a vibration like motion occur when driving down the road at night

Are you sure they aren't just auto adjusting?
I don't think our headlamps have auto adjust. Now I did remove the the clear plastic piece on the bottom of the bulb where it fits into the socket. I could not get them to fit with that clear hard plastic piece.
I noticed this too but its not bad and only on speed bumps
dammit people.... OUR HEADLIGHTS DO ADJUST, I see someone mention they don't almost every day ... sorry op

Is it a type of flickering? It could be the ballast, definitely take it to dealer to check it out

The halogen projectors adjust? This is the first I've heard of that. He's running aftermarket HIDs.

Bulb is probably loose. That's my guess, at least.
Completely missed the part where he said had the aftermarket HIDs from Diode Dynamics... ... only our HID housings adjust

...definitely sounds like a bulb or ballast issue
Long story short.. I tried to fix.. the prongs on my old hids broke so I couldn't use them again and the new ones fit so Loose I could not stand the flickering that was going on. and then when I took those out the bulb BROKE!!! I am extremely careful and easy with any mod I do. I build computer as a hobbie and have to be very patient.. >_< it aggravates me that these were so crappy build compared to the first set. so now I am using the factory halogens.. and no more flickering.. I think its because the aftermarket HID's are not H11B they are H11.. They dont get that Extra snug. Guess i'll try another set of HIDS but damn.. I'm annoyed right now.
