Traded in my 2008 tiburon today for a 2010 genesis coupe 3.8 6spd manual gran touring in blue. Already learned the first rule of owning a gen coupe, turning it on is a two button process.

1. engine start button
2. tcs button OFF

swear to god this cars tcs is freakin granny mode except my granny would have issues with it lol. anywho, love my first few hours with the car, looking forward to a short throw shifter so i dont have to cross oceans when switching gears :)

On ebay for like 30 bucks this dude sells a kit to turn off TCS automatically soon as they car starts. I do the same thing you do. Start it, while I wait foe the idle to come down I hold the button to turn everything off. I'm tuned so it actually turns it off 100%. Built into the tune. Still need the button push though. Welcome to the forums.
Will do, thanks!

I don't have a manual, but look into an aftermarket bushing kit and trans mount. This seems to help with the aggressive shifting hang ups etc...
I've got the coolerworx short shifter bookmarked as my likely first purchase :)

Have you read the upgrade path thats well written and back up with dyno pulls and testing?
Here's the link. There is stuff for both 2.0 and 3.8 so be mindful If you see something that's not foe your car.
Thanks!
