I am waiting delivery of System Upgrade headers for 3.8

please help me finding a O2 sensor cord to make it longer.

I also might need a O2 bungs to be weld on to mid pipe , which one would you recommend?

Any one would you recommend for installation in Austin Tx. area?

Thanks

John

Yeah, I've been worried about this myself. I want headers with 100 cell cats fully set up for O2 integration but what holds me back is the wiring. I have yet to research a suitable solution.

Colvin Automotive is a good shop, that's where I got my last dyno done at. If you can't find the extension cables a soldering iron, heat shrink tubing, and some extra wire should get the job done. You can get 02 bungs online for a few bucks a piece.

Not 100% sure that one works with the GC sensors, might be worth giving them a call.

OT, but check this out too since you're in Austin :)

I will be their for the Austin meet .:)
I have decided make it using a solder, heat shrink tubing, matching gage wire , and wrap it with heat resistant tape, I will go to frys and pick up the parts.

The header is not here yet, hopefully next week

as for bungs, I have ordered two wide band bungs and plugs from ebay.

I also have 7ism system coming that already has bungs on it.

I am trying to not to spend more than $300-$350 in labor , its a 3-4 hour job.

planning doing two DYNOs after the headers are installed , one with system upgrade single exhaust and dual 7ism exhaust in couple month.

I am hoping that I am close to 300wp. :)

Very nice! Should sound beastly. Ptp / protech on mcphaul does 75 for 3 pulls usually. I think colvin auto was 95 for an hour on the dyno. Colvins had a nicer facility too.
