Ill be picking up my new GC 2.0 R-SPEC next month and Ive been looking around at a few dealers and was wondering what everyone else has actually paid out the door for there GC.

So far ive found 1 dealer who says it costs $26,297.75 plus plates with a $500 down payment....

on a side note.

Downpayment is never required unless you have negative equity, you're a first time buyer to build equity, or credit is in the ruts.

$500 isn't going to do much at all.

I got my 2.0 Track for $26k out the door so they have some room to come down on price. I was also a first time buyer.

I paid $23,400 (tax not included) for my 2011 2.0T R-Spec.

Keep looking or talk them down. You can't even take these cars out for a test drive where I live, I think they would cut you a nice deal.

I paid 23,770 for my 3.8 R-Spec last month, but there were $2k in rebates here in SoCal at the time.

I think a good rule of thumb on any CG without rebates is that you should pay 1500-2000 under sticker.

So that's about 24K for a 2.0 R-Spec

Cars direct has it for 24,338 with Ipod cable and mats. +tax and title of course

I signed my papers last night. Was about $26,000 as well. Price had the Carpeted Mats, Cargo Net, and Ipod adapter included.

I got mine when they first came out in 2009 (picked mine up in July) Just the 2.0T base because I hate sunroofs (my brother who is a tall guy kept hitting his head on the roof)and leather seats! I traded my old SUV in for this...with my trade in (lost about 8G on my SUV) total price wtih trade in, 30k. I had to have the GC -thought it was worth it at the time...and still do! =)

Thats good to hear. I havnt heard of many people regretting there purchase. My car is being picked up from another dealer today so I should have it tonight or tomorrow. Excited. :) What do you like about the car and how is the sound system in the base model? I know im not getting the infinity system and I dont mind but was wondering if the base is decent.

It's not the best system out there but it's not the worst. Unless you like listening to music really loud it should be fine. Even then if you are getting distortion the best thing to do would be add dampening like Dynamat.

I am so in love with my car from the moment I sat in her (yes, its a she, us girls gotta stick together). The seats are so comfy - I went on a 12 hour drive and I didnt have any back soreness at all. I love the way it hugs corners and how zippy it is, she loves to go fast! The sound of the 2.0T is like music to my ears! I am wanting to upgrade the exhaust system on it but I am still undecided as to how much I want to do on it. My BF has a Tib with headers and the whole bit, and I am jealous every time I hear him coming! lol

Only thing that I dont like is the winter driving. I live in Calgary, Alberta where we have snow ALL the time. I have a really expensive set of winter tires on her (about 2G) and she goes. Worth the $$ if you live in a place where it snows!

Sound system is decent. I put 2 10 inch kicker subs in it - had to get a custom box made, but so worth it!
