Haha, no offense taken. I am aware they have genesis coupes in M/T but my impression from Hyundai's marketing was that the premium trim was offered only in an A/T to make consumers consider bumping up to the 3.8 or that the manual trans. needs were met by the R-Spec. Thanks for replying though!

That's lamesauce. Not sure who's spiking the coffee machine at Hyundai headquarters.

Its buy what sales numbers they saw the previous year.

So I believe that they saw more AT in the premo version sold in the US than the manual.

Best bet is to find a 2010 premo with MT. Plus it will be cheaper.

I didn't know you couldn't get a 2011 Premium model in only A/T in the US. Seems interesting that they would still sell 2011 Premium models with M/T in Canada... Markets are that much different?

lame. Is there anyway that I can get one in a M/T without shipping one from Canada or without a custom order? There's gotta be dealers around carrying one...right? I really want a 2011 GC Premium. Can we get a Hyundai rep in on this?

seriously, if i pay that much for a "premium" car it better be M/T!!! i'll fall asleep in an auto, they just don't hold my attention...

It's just cause we're awesome up here in the north, we don't got time for none o' that slushbox nonsense.

Same story with mine! I wanted a silver base M/T, but they couldn't get one so I got a silver premium M/T lol.

No. A 2011manual 2.0 premium does not exsit.
No dealers carry them so you can't get one.
As stated before, the only way to get a manual 2.0 premium is to get a 2010.

canada or 2010 version are your options.
You can probably get a 2010 track 2.0t version (discontinued for 2011) for as much or less than what you would pay for the 2011 premo anyways.
