I don't know anything about this thread.... But I do know that China has a new years festival every year during February and pretty much all of the workers leave to be with their families..... I work in aerospace and we always have to account for this time of year, so we ship stuff early or wait until March to get it...... I've even had FED EX express priority international air shipments just get dropped at a hub in China until they return (like the whistle blew for end of day and they all just ran out of the building and nobody answered the phone or anything haha)... So if ur package was shipped via USPS and was in China????? Ya that's what happened there.... I just saw this in the active topics so had to chime in haha.... As far as everything else goes with IS....... I have no experience with them, they don't have anything I want or need....
Yep, the celebration of Chinese New Year goes on for 2 weeks. This year it was from February 8th to 23rd.

Well I checked my usps tracking number tonight and my V3 tail lights are now in NYC. They are almost in my grasp.

So close you can taste it!!! Lolz.... Hopefully package comes And u can finally enjoy it.... I hate USPS tracking btw, it's almost useless sometimes haha

Well I finnaly got my V3 tail lamps in the mail today. Took 15min to remove the stock ones and install the V3's. Plug and play. They look cool, but if the turn signal strip was a rotating across type that would have been really awsome. Any way it took 30 days to get them considering it was between a Chinese new year.

Ill make a video of the V3 tail lights and try and post it here. My service is slow in my mountians and videows are hard to send or recieve.

I have heard so many negative experiences with them too, but so far I have never tried purchasing anything from them out of fear of encountering the same disappointing situations. After what you have shared, I guess I shall stick to my decision and order from other online platforms which are aplenty.

I had an issue with their shipping of the 2way LED Audi strips. It took over a month to actually receive them and each time I sent an email, they responded with "relax, where there is an update for shipping it will be provided automatically. No need to keep asking." Poor customer service if you ask me. The products are great and exactly what you ask for, however, the customer service is horrible.

Saw this thread and thought I would chime in, even though it started in 2016 I believe. Lol. I ordered carbon fiber door handle inserts for my BK2 in August of 2017. That's right, 8 freaking months ago. Says on their site that it takes 2-4 weeks cause it's a special order item. I was ok with that. Emailed them a month later just to follow up and got a rude response saying that "our supplier is very backed up and these are no where near being completed. No need to follow up again." So fast forward to February. I sent another email to find out if there's any info available. No response from import shark. I sent another email in April. Again, no response. I sent Mike a private message a week or so later on here. Still no response. I have ordered small items from them in the past with no issues, but going on months is beyond ridiculous with no communication. I'm going to actually try and call them this week. At this point I just want my money back. Found the same items through another dealer that can guarantee them in 2 weeks and I've ordered from them before with no issues and great communication. At this point, I view import shark as a bunch of con artists who could give a crap about their customers or their needs. It's like it's a part time run business and they only work when they want to. With as much stuff as they offer for the Genesis on their website you'd think they would want to keep the Gen community happy. They used to be pretty involved on the forums but you don't even see much of that anymore. There are plenty of other vendors that offer the same products with waaaaay better customer service because those vendors understand that they wouldn't be in business without us. I work too hard for my money to get ripped off, as I'm sure all of you do as well.

Do a chargeback on your CC, or escalate through PayPal. I recently won a PayPal case against ImportShark when they sent me the wrong part, refused to accept a return/refund for the wrong part, and then never bothered to respond to PayPal investigation.

ImportShark is a ****ing **** hole company.

I contacted PayPal and didn't realize I had a time frame with them and mesed that up so I'm going to talk to my bank and see if I can reverse it somehow. Really sucks, I've ordered a bunch of stuff from them before with no issues too. Oh well, this will be the last time I deal with them.
