Welcome. An engine makes power by utilizing air, spark, and fuel. You generally don't have to increase spark or fuel unless your capacity for power is greater than the ECU can adjust for. That leaves air, concentrate on moving as much air through the engine as you can (safely). Start from the ends and work your way towards the engine. My recommendations in order (1) Cat-back exhaust, 2.5 inch diameter is plenty., (2) CAI, avoid SRIs that tend to heat soak, (3) Mid-pipe exhaust, 2.5 inch diameter, (4) test pipes, 2.5 inch, (5) canned or custom tune, (6) TB and intake porting. Good luck
Lol, I bought mine I was all like, I'm not doing a thing to this car.
I had a Camaro that was supercharged, as well of just about everything else done.
SRT-4 with stage 2 turbo kit upgrade, stage 3 springs.
But....after about 9 months I just had to start adding things to my Coupe...seems a lot of us start off saying no, but end up saying yes.
I threw my new ecu in last night, followed all the instructions, however the car wont turn over. I ordered all the right specs to my knowledge and it still wont start. To top it off I cant get ahold of anyone over at sfr. 2010 3.8 push button tuned to 91 oct
Im about to pull the trigger on Borla exhaust for my 2015 3.8, but im thinking about getting downpipes and test pipes too at the same time.
Borla does not make DP and TP's for the coupe, so I was going to get something like this
Borla says its piping is 2.25in, and the latter says 2.5 in...
