keyless remote

Hey, names Daniel Lee and I started experience some difficulty with my

remote. It would randomly stop working for a short period of time then start to

work perfectly again. Or it literally works then doesn't work every time I press

lock/unlock. What also seems to be being difficult is the little black button on

the handle which opens and locks the door. That doesn't seem to work at all

now. I plan on bringing it into the dealer since its probably under warranty,

but wanted to get a better idea of what was going on. The dealer ship near

my home is pretty infamous for charging random things. Thanks in advance!

I had the same issue. It is all related to the button on the door handle. Mine was repaired under warranty.

I have the PA basic reflash w.o module, do you think that will come up during the fix/examination?

cool im at the dealership now, so hopefully they can find the problem. been here for 2 hours already...

For anyone who also had this issue, when you brought it into the dealership, did they charge a service fee (fee for just checking out the car), then waived it when the problem turned out to be under warranty?

Everything worked out great, everything was under warranty but when they were putting my door panel back together it caused some kind of miss alignment. When i got on the freeway i can actually hear wind whistling from my drivers window. lol going back tomorrow to get that fixed...sigh

Yeah I had this issue with my GC when I first got it. The passenger side keyless entry button only seemed to work sometimes. They took it apart and found a wire in the door making intermittent contact with metal thus causing it to only work sometimes. Everything was covered under warranty, no charges whatsoever, and it has worked great ever since.

We actually just replaced a custoemrs door handle this morning that had this exact issue.

coolest thing about it is that the door handle comes painted.
