I have a 3.8 with a Magnaflow Catback Exhaust, but I'm looking to get louder pops and bangs, and if possible more sound at higher RPMs but not necessary, down low it's nice and burbly but up high it sounds stock, all with little to no rasp and no droning if possible.
I have some ideas but I'm not sure as to the effect:
- Resonator/Secondary-Cat Delete?
> (Lots of argument on the forums whether or not they're secondary cats or resonators)
> Maybe if they're actually cats, then delete or replace with resonators?
- Muffler Delete?
> Would kind of be wasting the money I spent on the Magnaflow Cat-Back exhaust if I did this
- Buy and install headers?
What do you all think? I've been searching google and Gencoupe all day yesterday and today and I'm seeing lots of mixed opinions (duh).
