I know that lowering springs put more stress on your stock shocks and struts but im wondering if any of you have actually blown a stock shock or strut due to the springs. I'm not sure how strong and durable our stock parts are. If so, how long did you have the springs on for and what kind?

You can go for thousands of miles before you have a problem I'm talking over 10k

teins for 10,000 kms no signs of issues at all. none.

i know GCkid was on pro-kits for over 20k miles no issues

Not to highjack this thread but what are some signs of wear or noises to look out for? Been lowered on Teins for about 3k miles and no issues so far.

I think it's different for everyone. Mine blew not too long after eibach prokit.
I'm sure the shitty roads didn't help...err did help shorten the life of stock shocks.
If I remember correctly...5k or so.

ive read you can go awhile with them. cheap way to drop if you cant afford coils :] (like me :)

on my 06 eclipse I had over 60k on mine before any issues.
