So a few weeks ago something in my HID wiring harness fried, probably a relay, and I finally am fed up with my set-up. So I decided it was time to go big and throw in a set of the Morimoto M-LED projectors.

First off the retrofit brackets are designed for a D2S projector not the M-LED. So be prepared to do a little trimming (it's actually a lot).

Here are pics of the whole process.

Here are all the parts one would need if you want to do this.
Morimoto M-LED Projectors
Genesis Coupe D2S 4.0 Retrofit Brackets
M4 x25mm screws - 8x
aluminum spacers 1/4" - 8x
M4 Lock washers - 4x
M4 Hex Nuts - 4x
various bit of wiring and some 9006 connectors

So here is a look at the opening for the projectors you will need to cut.

As you can see the M-LED housings are quite large and hit the existing bracketry in the headlights

Now on to wiring it. Take the time to do it right, use quality connectors and make sure you properly solder everything

Be sure and test everything as you go!

Also since the paint was starting to peel and fade I decided to freshen up the headlights while I had them open

All in all everything turned out pretty well
