Ill be buying mine soon... As for 2012 id wait but all there doing is replacing the front bumper and throwing the Sonata engine in the car.

Ya. Theres ALOT of Rumors... Just like a 5.0 coming out for 2012 as well.

Yeah wait for 2012 then you have 2015 full make over coming out, wait for 2015 and you have 2017/18 refresh coming out, wait for that and..........

I agree with what you are saying on a general level, but the next model year is 5 or 6 months away, not 2 or 3 model years away. And honestly if the 2.0 chatter is true? The wait is worth 5 measly months.
The flipside though. If the OP is not a performance enthusiast and just likes the car for features and looks? Then it really doesn't matter if he waits or not.

Minimal mod plans for now. down the road Chip, Exhuast, Intake. That will make me happy for awhile. I just love the look of this car... ****ing sexy.

Bathurst Black. Might pick up some black matte rims I saw on the forums here.

I know how you feel, I looked at the coupe on a lark while my wife was looking at the Sonata and was blown away by the style and the quality of the car in person. Before that I would have never thought of a Hyundai but now I am a huge fan of what they are doing. They picked up the ball Honda dropped and are running with it.

The sonata turbo is a for sure in 2012.

There is no way I would have purchased a current 2.0. I drove it and it feels VERY underpowered.
