I just got a 124R battery to replace my dead stock battery on my 2013 genesis coupe.

I searched up for my car and 'MOTOMASTER - MOT124R' came up on Canadian tire website. The problem is that the new battery is actually a bit shorter than the stock one so there's a small gap between the battery holder and the battery itself. And it's also a bit narrower in width so it could wiggle front to back and side to side a bit.

Did I buy the wrong battery? It says 124R is the correct size on other websites as well.

Or is there something that I'm missing to secure it?

With the battery's back mount lip under the rear hold down, does the front hold down clamp put good down force on the battery's front mount lip?

124R is the correct size. Maybe the battery was mislabeled.

I use Motomaster 124R - just seat the battery where the clamp will hold onto it and screw it in. It won't budge after it's clamped in.
