So my clutch went out at 39,000 miles on my 2010 genesis coupe 2.0T, as I noticed my rpm rising high with little acceleration, and I decided to replace my factory clutch assembly, with an ACT Street Full Face Clutch Kit HY3-HDSS.
When I first got the car, 5 weeks ago, it grabbed around midway (I assume normal), and now that I replaced it with a new clutch (currently in break in period), the clutch engages nearly as soon as I come off of the floor. I had the dealer replace it. Is this normal? The car works fine now, as it pulls very nice, although I havent driven too fast since Im in the break in period. I a just used to releasing the clutch from the floor and around midway to full release is when it grabs.
Also, do any of you guys with 2.0T rpsecs have the problem of reversing and the engine almost feels as if its going to stall? I have to keep hitting the gas and releasing the clutch so that it reverses and keep it from stalling. Thanks!
