Hello, I’m Dox. I new this forum and really forums in general although I have been lurking around here for a few weeks now as I’ve been looking into, and researching build ideas. I own a 2013 Genesis Coupe 2.0T that I bought as my first car back in October with 124k miles (currently 134k). I’m relatively new to modding and know very little about the Genesis as a whole although I have looked through GCG’s thread a little bit and plan on learning more. I have a pretty ambitious build goal and I hope you guys are willing to lend a helpful bit of advice here and there. The end goal is an AWD V8 powered lifted GenCoupe and from what I can tell and from what I’ve googled there’s not too much info on Lifting or AWD converting a GenCoupe so maybe somebody can point me in the right direction regarding those two mods. I’m looking forward to learning, building, and having a great time with you all. If you have and questions or helpful resources for me to read and look into let me know. Thanks!

As far as I know, nobody has done an AWD conversion on a Genesis Coupe. That's a lot of custom fabrication. I have seen a lifted one on Instagram, can't remember the account off the top of my head. Again, lots of custom fabrication. As for the V8 swap, there are LS swap kits you can buy.

Thanks for the reply and letting me know that an AWD conversion has never been done before. I had assumptions but wasn't ever certain as there isn't much info. As for the V8 I was actually thinking more along the lines of the 1UZ, but there is very little info floating around about putting a 1UZ in a Genesis unfortunately. I'm pretty sure 90% of the project is going to be custom fab work which is going to be rough and expensive.

Yeah, you'll be doing all of the fabrication if that's the case. Engine swaps are rarely ever simple, and AWD conversions are even more complex.
