I recently bought a 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T and it now has engine problems. Mechanic said they need to fully replace the engine for like 7k so I will be searching through these forums for a way to do this myself. I don't know alot about cars but I am here to learn!

Welcome to the forums. Search around here and you will find most of what you are looking for. Don't be afraid to ask. I know you will get some saying use the search instead of answering you. The problem with some searches is the thread started out as info for what you are looking for but gets quickly going a different direction.
There are alot of knowledgeable people on here...
