Just a shout out, just bought a slightly used 2015 Ultimate with 38k on it. Been lurking on the forums to read about issues and upgrades last couple months while shopping. Mine is all stock, except previous owner put a K&N typhoon intake on it. Got plans for a Oil catch can, and Borla exhaust super fast, as well as trying the reverse camera hack. Thanks for having me.

Hey man, welcome! I just joined myself, after lurking for quite some time (several years). What color Genesis are you rolling with? By the way, I have the Borla catback, and it sounds awesome! Plus the tips are really unique looking - you're going to love it!

Mine is silver, cant wait to buy the borla and get it on. Still trying to decide whether I should go ahead and change the tranny mount while i'm down there or if it is even worth it since I have the AT. I see a lot of people putting in the Megan racing mount on their manuals but not sure if it is needed on the AT.

I don't believe you can install that on an AT? I could be wrong though, perhaps someone with a MT will chime in...

Looks like the tranny mount is just for the manual, just found the info...lol

Get the engine leash, cheap and easy install, it really firms up the drivetrain on my 2014 3.8 ultimate auto.

I'm still shopping right now and can't decide between 3.8 or 2.0t. This is driving me nuts! I know i want the 8AT but can't decide on which engine to get

I’ve owned both, they are both super fun cars to drive, I think it really depends what you’re looking for with the car. Are you planning to leave it as is, go for power, etc?

Sold by 3point8 performance, it compensates for the coupes soft motor mounts under hard acceleration and helps firm up the drive line without the added vibration of stiffer motor mounts. Inexpensive, easy to install and very effective. A popular "day two" mod for the 3.8 Genesis coupe.

I don't have that one but if you search around you can find other members who do and what their opinions are regarding the manifold spacer.
Another cheap and easy "Day two" mod I would recommend is a throttle booster. The Tros seems to be the most popular and cost effective one mentioned on this forum. I personally have the Sprint V3 booster and would highly recommend it, it has a few more settings and features than the less expensive models but either is a excellent mod.

A quick Google search shows the SSR to have a 6.0 V8, around 395 H.P. with 400 ft lbs of torque, and a curb weight of 4700 lbs. More torque and H.P. but also more weight. Congrats on your win.
The throttle booster is physically nothing more than what looks like a thick peice of wiring with plugs on either end that goes between the gas pedal and wiring harness. Very simple to install or remove.

Its a weird looking car SSR, If I was gay, that would probably fit my likings... and two blokes sat in it too. Nice to beat a 6L V8, thats awsome, and I only had a few minutes on Premium, maybe I will get some extra performance even.

I have been thinking more about the sprint booster v3.
Didn't know you can disconnect the "remote" and that is what is what I want.

Can agree that the stock throttle is a bit sluggish. This is the thing for car manufacturers, they have to build a car for the big masses, enthusiasts like us need to have a quicker throttle response.
I also Liked the Valey or Valery mode, I have a 13,5 yo that at 16 can start practicing driving with me and he is not capable of handling this car even stock.

Finally I can order this from Germany! No extra tax and only 20 USD shipping!
