true bro...my dealership even told what I can install that will NOT void the warranty...but a CAI install is a good DIY for a 1st timer.you can have anywhere put it in, you dont have to tell a dealer who installed it...plus theres really nothing you could void with a cai
Swing by my house in South Jersey, I'll install it for ya! I'm a pro at removing the bumper after my Vega projectWhere is the closest shop down by the Toms River area that can do an install on an intake and CAI?
I'm not very good with working on my own car, so would rather have someone who knows what they are doing do the install.
Thanks
Thanks for the replies everyone. And Miss Adema, I have a SRI on there now and have taken it to Lester a couple of times for an oil change and they have never said a word. WeirdEverybody: I know for the majority it shouldn't, but this dealership is CRAZY. Their service manager is one I had huge issues with over a year ago and reported her to corporate for harassment. I had 2 friends with coupes, one with SRI and one with CAI, both go there and both were told when they got oil changes that they better take out their intakes if they want their warranty honored. The service manager also had an altercation with one of my friends about his exhaust, flipping out saying she can't have that on her property because of the decibel level. He brought it in to fix the damn BLUETOOTH and she flipped over the exhaust, again bringing up the intake as well, WHICH HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH BLUETOOTH!!!
So, fair warning. :
