Hi, I’m a new Coupe owner of a 2011 3.8L Track and I noticed a rattle on cold startup the day after I got it. Researching the site, seemed like it could be an issue with the timing chain tensioner, so I took the timing cover off yesterday to investigate. The tensioners are holding strong but noticed that the guide on the oil pump is loose and moves around a bit. See link below of the play it has. It’s like the smooth unthreaded part of the bolts are slightly longer than the guide holes which doesn’t let it seat all the way. Is this how it’s supposed to be or is the guide worn? Any help would be great. Thanks!
