With so many interest in 7ism product that PA imported first turbo kit and others for long time, I want to gauge interest for starting GB.



From our recent axle back only system for 3.8 7ism street version send to customer, the air shipping alone came out $350 via DHL Express. EMS post mail would of been cheaper solution, but 7ism production delay held our responsible not to meet delivery date which made us not to consider the loss anymore from shipping.

For GB interest, we can't go customize for individually, but we think we can offer great price for USA GC member.

For 3.8, street or racing version catback system, I think I can offer at this price with following conditions.

Retail price in Korea with exchange rate, its $1,050 FOB, Korea.

$869 deliver to 48 States (excluding Alaska, Hawaii) Calculation is little difficult to find exactly how much more to Canada and other States, but this can be confirm later as we see any possibility of this GB.

Optional :
Titan quad tips can be arrange, but price not known for GB.

Above price is including 7ism catback system, import by ocean, deliver to customer by Fedex or UPS Ground. PA choose best shipping solution.
I am aiming for 20 units at this price to be import by ocean taking 10 days, custom clearance & deliver to our warehouse for 5 more working days.

15 days to import and ready to ship from our warehouse in City of Industry, CA
once we meet our quantity.

Of course, this does not includes production days from 7ism.

7ism will only take orders by payment in advance for large order, and we can understand the situation from factory's position. They don't stock too many 3.8 exhaust (none from recent order), since there are not many 3.8 owners for GC/BK.

As we gauge interest and believe firm order coming, we can place order in advance and post delivery expectation to save some time. We can also take 10% none refundable, but transferable deposit for placement.

Adding 20+, there may be very small difference, but I won't be able to calculate until we hit first 20 units.

Still, this condition is not set at this time.


After gauging interest here, we can start GB at PowerAXEL vendor section.

I made some bold letter where to understand how this GB going to be possible with term and condition.

3.8 update : Feb. 10th, 2011
7ism have some stock for racing version and street version require 2 days / 1 set to be made.




May continue or may stop from this point, since I am not sure everyone wants to buy same brand at this point.

Can you explain the main differences between racing and street versions?
Basically,

1) Street version is quieter
2) Racing version is less restrict as you can see the axle back with dual canister
whereas Street version with main canister in-route to bi-direction.

I think it would help potential buyers if you posted clips of the street exhaust bs the racing exhaust
I'm surprised no one is biting at this great opportunity

what is the difference between this exhaust and the custom sfr 7ism one?
You have to ask sfr, since I am not aware of their project.

Generally, 7ism would do custom for 3inch pipe for turbo cars with more power.

Otherwise, it should be same. Just my guess.

I'd be in and I don't even own the car yet! Do you think there will be any fitment issues for the 2012 3.8?

im one of many who are deciding either this or injen..
I just want to know which on is just louder and have more potential when i put in 0 cats and header,

If GC ever do F/L on 2012 model, then nothing can guarantee w/o seeing the car.

Rumor...Korean GC will F/L this September. Will see~

Racing version is surely louder and more powerful.

Forgive my noobness PA, but what is F/L? From what I understand, the 2012 U.S. model is just getting a horsepower bump plus some possible cosmetic changes?

That I'm not 100% sure about, but you never know what they might change. I'd imagine it'll remain the same tho.

Thanks Slider...hopefully it will remain the same...I know in the future I will be hitting you up for some tire and wheel recommendations :bowdown:

PA...I'm in for the 3.8 racing version...if they don't fit the 2012, I'll just sell it...too good an offer to pass up :D

If I rememeber right, I found both by searching on youtube for genesis coupe 7ism exhaust and genesis coupe injen exhaust...I like the 7ism a little better than the injen...and a toss up between injen and stillen. I was thinking going custom, but with this deal, I can't pass it up (even though I don't even have a coupe yet!).

Go ahead and put me on the list for the 3.8 Street Version.

The timing of this group buy is perfect! I've been wanting this exhaust.
