finally after multiple problems and deposit trying to get base 2.0t i went for a 3.8 base nord gray for 33 495$ OTD cash (taxes, tire tax and transport incl ) in DDO in Qc

hyundai financed 24 000$ at 3.49% and i still got the 4000$ rebate and lowered the internet price of approx 1100$ more

its not the greatest deal but its better than paying full price for the 2011 base... or 28k for premium...

pretty happy with my deal

Probably not, the main reason is that I can't justify a tune before I start my upgrades, because I'll just need to tune it again.

If you aren't going too wild with the upgrades the ECU will learn the new parameters on it's on so you'd be ok. Do drop by even if you don't decide to do it. Jay won't be back again this year just to let you know.

Just recalculated and you are correct. You paid about $1200 above invoice for the car (still not the best deal).

As the guy above me mentioned, you gave the dealer over $1000 in profit. That's not a good deal, but if you don't mind, that's ok. What is not ok, is the $1555.80+tax of the extras.

AEM intake can be purchased for 300 or even less sometime.
Factory spoiler is not that great looking for the price you are paying for. For $250 or so, you can get a BBM lip spoiler.
Eibach sway bars front and rear can be had for 400.
So if you buy the parts yourself, and install them (relatively easy), the total is a bit less than $1000. That's being generous too. The prices are almost always lower.

The extras are worth $800-900. By paying $1555.80+tax, you gave them double the price of market. You can argue that I did not include labor, but:

1. They are all very easy to install
2. $800 on labor is...wow.

Not trying to offend you. If you can still change your mind and say no to the extra, that would be great. Just trying to look out for you. The extra $800 can get you a BR PA tune.
