pre- cpe dp install

hey guys well after 2 months i finally got my gc back from the body shop. so now its time to install my aem intake and cpe catless downpipe.

just had some quick questions before i start ripping it apart.
i know its a basic bolt on part but just wanted to see from people that have installed these if there is anything i should expect while installing. car has just under 12k miles.

also how safe is it to run on a catless downpipe with just an sfr reflash? i planned on getting my car a custom tune come spring time.
