We are looking at the viability of doing a ported/polished intake manifold for you guys. The idea is the same as the program we did with Tibby guys. We have manifolds that we will Pand P and P. That means PORT, POLISH, POWDER COAT. We would have it work on a core exchange program. We saw great results with the smaller TIBBY V-6 so I would expect even better results with the 3.8 l motors.

Are people interested in this?

I am as long as I don't have to be without my car for a long time. It's my daily driver I was looking into sending my manifold off but if you can do it local I am definately in

What were the gains like on the tibby? Would you guys just sell completed port and polished manifolds? I live in hawaii and the genny is my daily driver so I wouldn't be able to go a whole week without it.

yea if theres a way to for me to do this withoug ever having to go without one. ( need to driver everyday ) then im interesteedd

That is the idea. We send you the P & P stuff and you install, send us the stock parts back, we refund the core money. Pretty simple so long as everyone plays nice and return stuff in a timely manner. Gain on tibby were good 10 h.p but also very impressive throttle response like a race motor.

Relying on total strangers to ship things in a timely manner... Dangerous. It's like waiting for the Government to pass a Bill. lol

it's always best to replace the oem gaskets once you take off your old gaskets...but not NECESSARY. you can reuse it. they're cheap though, so you might as well

I was debating to do this once someone started a core exchange program, but found a local shop that will be using my car to R&D 3.8 engine parts (FINALLY!) and they said they would do it in house while they had it for a week for R&D as a way of saying thanks for letting them borrow the car.

We would be interested, too
Our demo isn't going to be moving and sitting in the shop till winter is over and meanwhile we are going to have all the goodies on the car so sending you an intake manifold isn't a problem. Also we have all access to dynos very easily.
We have good photographers as well :)

sweet! Would you include gaskets? Any idea on prices? Pretty interested! After I get my wheels n tires, I'll be looking for power parts. I've got the intake and exhaust already.
