Hey Jay how much for custom tune if doing it from the previous tune? I dont' remember if you did custom on mine or not lol. If so, would it be worth it to do so base on just bolts on (intake and exhaust? - wow not so much for 3.8 auto lol).
It was a canned tune since you did not go on the dyno.
I am sure we can squeeze bit more out, but it won't be much from Naturally Aspired engine... and this is for canned tune only.
this will only be canned tunes again? If thats the case I'll keep my money. So why have you guys only been doing canned tune tours lately?
You will more likey never get your car tuned then.
This is no brainer and I've already answered many times why we are doing canned tune only @ most of locations.
We've doing plenty of custom tunes recently @ Puerto Rico trips and few other places but that's because we had a full access to a dyno where shop does not try to charge everyone for using their parking lot or charge a flat rate for a whole day.
Most of time, dyno shops are not open on the Sundays (if it's held on Sunday) and try to have their useless employees to come out and they have to pay them.
Also not all the people are willing to pay $550-$600 (for the first hour and +$250-300 per/hr) for 2-3 hours of tuning session.
Yet custom tune does not make a big big of difference in a first place when we are applying the tune that we've collected/made so far on the dyno for the cars with similar set up, and ECU learns and adjust things by itself anyways.
So unless we don't have at least 4-5 cars willing to do custom tunes and have a dyno place, it will be canned tune for everyone.
